Stand in front of an empty wall and two questions arrive together: how big, and how much? This guide explains our four series, the Kanjivaram silk wall art price you can expect in each, and the silk wall art sizes they come in, so you can match a piece to your wall, your room and your budget.
Every piece is woven on a handloom by master weavers in Kanchipuram, in pure Kanjivaram silk with gold zari. It is woven as an artwork from the first thread, never cut from saree fabric and never a print, and it carries the Silk Mark and Handloom Mark.

Four Series, One Craft
The series are not grades of quality. Every piece is pure Kanjivaram silk and gold zari, handwoven by master weavers. What changes is how many silk thread colours the weaver works with, how much detail the design carries, and how large the piece can be.
That is also why prices do not climb in a neat line. A compact Premium piece can cost less than a large Traditional one. Choose by detail and size first, and the price follows.
Essentials Series: compact and personal
Essentials pieces are woven with 4 silk thread colours in one size, M (32 x 23 cm, 12.5 x 9 in). Most are ₹2,999. The Paisley, in gold zari and dark brown on a half-white base, is ₹2,599, and a few designs go up to ₹3,499. So the series starts from ₹2,599.
This is the size for a pooja shelf, a study desk or a bedside wall. Many deities are woven in this size too, including Venkateswara, Kamakshi Amman and Saraswati.
Traditional Series: the classic wall piece
Traditional pieces use 4 silk thread colours with classic detailing, woven larger: XL, 2XL and 3XL, and on some designs XL+ or 2XL+. They start from ₹6,999, for designs such as Lord Venkateswara in XL. Sri Rama Pattabhishekam, woven in 2XL+ and 3XL, is ₹12,499.
An XL piece takes about 2 days on the loom. The weaver works the loom and throws every shuttle by hand, and at this size the zari has room to catch the light from across a room.

Premium Series: a fifth colour for depth
Premium adds a fifth silk thread colour, which gives the design shading and depth. Sizes run from M up to 3XL on some designs. The series starts from ₹4,499 for Kanchi Kamakshi Amman in M. Lord Ganesha, Premium Series, in pink, red and gold zari, is woven in 2XL+ and 3XL and starts at ₹15,499.

Masterpiece Series: our most intricate work
Masterpiece pieces are woven with 5 to 7 silk thread colours and maximum detailing. They come in 2XL+ and 3XL, and some designs in special sizes. The series starts from ₹16,999 for the Tree of Life, woven in red, green and gold zari on half-white silk.
Among the collector's pieces is Srinivasa Kalyanam, Collector's Edition, at ₹46,999. It is sold without a frame, and we can frame it on request in one of our standard sizes. Our story of the sacred Tree of Life shows how much detail a Masterpiece holds.

Silk Wall Art Sizes, Explained
Our sizes are named like clothing sizes.
M, 32 x 23 cm (12.5 x 9 in): a shelf, a desk or a pooja niche.
L, 42 x 32 cm (16.5 x 12.5 in): for a small wall or beside a doorway; ask us on WhatsApp which designs come in L.
XL, 52 x 42 cm (20.5 x 16.5 in): a pooja room wall, an entrance or a smaller living room wall.
2XL, 72 x 52 cm (28.25 x 20.5 in): above a sofa, a console or a dining sideboard.
3XL, 92 x 63 cm (36.25 x 24.75 in): the centrepiece of a large living room or a tall wall.
A "+" after a size, as in XL+ or 2XL+, means the same outer dimensions, woven borderless.
How to Choose Your Piece
Start with the wall
Measure the space first. A piece about two-thirds the width of a sofa or sideboard usually looks settled. A pooja shelf is seen from arm's length, so an M piece shows every thread. A living room wall is seen from across the room, so choose XL or larger.
Then the room
For a pooja room, a deity in M or XL sits comfortably at eye level. For an entrance, an XL greets guests without crowding the space. For a living room, 2XL or 3XL holds its own above furniture. For a housewarming, our housewarming gift ideas may help.
Then the budget
Essentials, from ₹2,599, is a thoughtful gift or a first piece. Premium in M, from ₹4,499, brings a fifth colour to a small space. Traditional, from ₹6,999, is the classic wall piece. Masterpiece, from ₹16,999, is for a piece you want to keep for years. You can browse every series, with live prices and sizes, in our full collection.
